27-31 December: Gaza Freedom March -- Egypt and Gaza Strip

"The law is clear. The conscience of humankind is shocked. Yet, the siege of Gaza continues. It is time for us to take action! On Dec. 31, we will end the year by marching alongside the Palestinian people of Gaza in a non-violent demonstration that breaches the illegal blockade." Read more here.

27 December: Vigil Outside the Israeli Embassy -- London

The PSC and many other Palestine solidarity groups and trade unions have called for a vigil outside of the Israeli embassy in London on the 27th -- to mark one year since the beginning of the attacks on Gaza and call for an end to the siege on the people of Gaza.

16 January 2010: Gaza 1417 Remembrance Die-In -- Trafalgar Square, London

Message from the organisers:

"Join us as we stage a die in in Trafalgar Square on the 16th of January 2010 as we remember those that died. We can send a clear message to Israel and the world that we wont let massacre be forgotten.

"We are hope to get at least 1417 people there to represent those that died during the Israeli onslaught Wear red and white (and if you like bring any visual accessories to symbolise the atrocity and/or call to boycott Israel). We will be giving people names to hold of the 1417 that died."

18 January 2010: Remember Gaza, Smash EDO -- Brighton

Assemble 1pm (meeting point TBA). Wear black.

For three weeks in January 2009, the bombs rained down on Gaza. At the end of Israel's brutal bombing campaign and ground offensive 1415 Palestinians had been murdered, including over 300 children.

In Brighton EDO MBM/ITT manufacture some of the weapon components that devastated so many lives. All over the world people watched appalled at the carnage on the streets of Gaza. Thousands marched and raged at the destruction of people's homes and lives. On January 18th 2010, the anniversary of the final day of Operation Cast Lead, we will come together to remember the people of Gaza. We will not allow those who supported their pain and profited from their suffering to go unchallenged. We will not let this genocide be forgotten. On the first anniversary after their deaths we will rise up. We will remember...
