Up to 200,000 people marched to the Israeli Embassy to denounced the attacks on Gaza. Demonstrators left shoes at the Israeli embassy in the spirit of the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at George Bush. Some rioting broke out when police attacked demonstrators.
